I realise there is no mention about the award ceremony for acad merit award (students who are top 25% but not eligible for merit bursary award). The letter only mentions merit bursary award application.

Past 2 years my son has been getting the academic merit award. That’s still ongoing right?

I think it will be the same process as previous years - the community centre will give out the prize (Popular vouchers) in an awards ceremony sometime in January.

From the MOE Website, it states that “if you child is selected…”. I believe it means majority will not receive any form of “rejection” email if not selected.

That will be disappointing if parents are kept waiting for a "rejection" email.
