      …… including << The Giver >>
I was curious about “the Giver” I googled it. Interesting story: only one person in the whole society with memories. And it become a gift that allow him to “see beyond”.

In our everyday lives, all of us have that “gift” memories too. I think the issue is, we crave for good memories and avert bad memories. So our “gift” are 1 sided. If we can learn to face both good and bad memories with equanimity, we will all have a complete GEP

        ….
Could it be IP schools could further customise IP curriculums: having different one for different group of students? Especially the independent IP schools?
        …..
IP schools can definitely customise their curriculums and this is not limited to independent ones.

Regarding the above about more width, this would mean doing additional topics, that are not covered in the regular O level syllabus. And this is definitely true of several IP schools I know, regardless of indept or aided or govt IP.

While it is true that eventually they all take the same A level (ip and non ip), in IP, they all a lot more than covering the basic syllabus. IP is not only about not sitting for the o level exams

The question is, do we have to face our memories? No matter how brilliant days or terrible days we had before, these days have already been passed. I prefer to face the challenges ahead instead of facing past memories.

The reason foresee challenges ahead, are based on 1 sided past memories of challenging days ? The other sides are those neutral and relaxing days.

                In GEP context,

students remember pass mistake when attempting a question and accept that mistake and not shy away from it:
                - Come next test, remember this pass mistake (bad memory) and not to repeat them
                - also not to lose confident.

On the other spectrum, after doing well in a test:
                - students are encouraged not to get complacent (indulge too much on this good memory) and skip study, thinking good result will be repeated.
                - give themselves a pat on the back.

Thanks. You are correct. I mixed up with Sec1 posting/registration. 😆

For GEP, first week of school in current P3 school uniform should be fine ya? I checked the uniform purchase may only have earliest appointment on 7 Jan (for St Hildas)
