Wow top 5 went to different schools. In recent years, in some schools, top kids go to HCI and NYGH instead of Raffles family. Academic plus some non-academic reasons .... :evil: some parents prefer the HCI/NYGH cultures and Mdm Heng herself is a big draw for NYPS kids to NYGH :please:Snow Crystal:

Wow, overkill. DS just returned from 3 days camp, packed half of what is stated here. Don't forget slippers. -

Because it's rainy weather, and boys are sweaty, might fall or roll in the mud too!

Mine's going to boys brigade camp too - also first three days next week. Heard that the first day no showering - after the hike. becoz they're going to sleep in tents. 2nd nite then camp at dormitory where there's shower facilities. So was told to pack prickly heat powder. Will ask him to pack wipes too - don't think putting powder on sweating sticky skin helps.
As for amt of clothing suggested in the packlist - just 1 or 2 of each only and sufficient undergarments. Oh must pray for fine weather too! -

Yes, time flies and we really managed to survive one whole term!
Think the workload is still managable as I don't see DD spend much of her time doing homework or project. DD said most of the works or project already done at the school.
Only see 1 CA2 Paper for Science and rest of the subjects seems like not exam. :?
For Match holiday, they are required to go back for their CCA!

Looks like your DD is settling down nicely in sec school.
Same same! DD's CCA training will continue as per normal this hols.
No break at all.
Luckily, she loves her CCA so she's not complaining. Phew! -

DD will also be attending a camp next week; organized by her merit CCA, Math Society.
Haven't seen her packing list, but I doubt she has to bring as many pieces of clothing as your DS!
7 briefs for 3 days is 4 too many! :scared:
