less than $200
how much normally?Chanielle:
It's On-the-green at OCC. How much are the school fees at KV? Just curious...
The teacher called us to inform. Anyway, I just called his form teacher today and had a chat with her. She was quite surprised to hear that my son told me the child's name. (My son's getting more vocal nowadays..coming to 3 years).
Does your child get bruises often? -

I visited LSH in tampines when it was quite newly opened. impressed with the space and newness of it all, but subsequently heard forum reviews that the 'software' part was not so good. Think you can look around 'alternative views'.Hello Parents,
Need some advice if you have sent your child to either The Little Skool House @ Fidelio or The Little Skool House @ Tampines, and Star Learners @ Simei? I have visited the schools with the following comments:
1) The Little Skool House @ Fidello
-Read about the branch on their website; I prefer the preschool to be in a house than in a centre.
-the house supposed to be a more interesting place, as they have a little out door corner, but the place did not look as interesting as what I have thought.
2) The Little Skool House @ Tampines
-the place surprised me with it's cleaniness and space.
-Teachers looked quite experienced.
-Students looked quite happy.
-Overall I do like the Tampines branch better after visiting two different branches.
-math is introduce through story books.
3) Star Learners @ Simei
-the place looks quite spacious, cleaniness is alright,
-the teachers looked friendly and polite.
-Went at the wrong timing (nap time)!
So unable to see the children in action.
-the centre is using a little mixture of Montessori method for math.
All the three centers are welcoming, teachers and principle are friendly and polite.
I would like to pick one from these but is struggling which one to enroll my son to. Any kind advice is appreciated.
With many thanks.

I know someone with a kid at Star Learners. They only have good things to say abt the place. Think the charges are reasonable, the place is clean.
Which one is more convenient, location-wise for you? I think that plays a big role. -
Any parents have experience with their kids in LSH@KTPH (khoo teck puat hospital in yishun)?

Thank you for the tip!
I lived in Tampines, the school bus fees is S$130-140 for two way trips from my house to Simei then back again.
By the way, your friend's child is in Star Learners at Simei or other branch? Because the environment and education do varies one one branch to another. -

Yes, it's near the MRT track. The principle and teachers are friendly, but guess I visit the place at the wrong timing. The kids were about to nap, so unable to know if their programme is good..
My friend ask me to find out about Mindchamps, and Cambridge. So am still searching. -
Anyone has any feedback on littleskoolhouse at the vista?

Went to view LSH @ Fidelio ytd and it was kinda my dream school (in terms of facilities) but would like to know more accurate feedbacks on parents who have send their kids there?
Have been searching around as my son turns 18months in May. He was from infantcare but hb and i are not comfortable with continuing with the school due to their 'sick' policy :x (another story for another thread)
My views after going to a few CCs:
Carpe Diem resort @ Punggol 24th Ave --- We love the outdoor space (with pool, trampoline, tentages, water play areas!!) But quite run down and classroom too small (for 16 toddlers). Naturally ventilated (we like!) but classrooms not well lit. Price and school bus considered quite affordable! ($400+ after subsidy)
NurtureStars @ Tampines Safra --- Fun curriculum (under Kinderland ops) and very nice principal. Good outdoor space. But too bad, fully air-conditioned and funny thing that the toilet is only accessible after a half flight of staircase down. Although the principal reassured us the teachers will accompany the kids, we dun rule out our naughty boy attempting to climb it... ($500+ after subsidy & Safra mbr)
LSH @ Fidelio --- My fave so far. The interior is pretty new and spacious for the kids to move about. Naturally ventilated except for class (i assume the more official ones like Chinese etc) and nap time. Outdoor playground and an upstairs waterplay/telematch run-ard area. Teachers all speak in very good english (which stresses me out...haha...) The most expensive one ($600+ after subsidy) of the lot...
You might notice the areas are pretty far of from one another, but one has no choice when she is desperate. :?: My boy is coming 17 months already...
More comments are much
MUCH appreciated before I head down to place deposits.... TQ  -
hello,
my kid is in the N1 class in KV branch. I don't know if i am paranoid but I hardly see any art work or school work done in school whereas other kids in other childcares/schools are always bringing back lot of artwork done in school. are they more slack or its only nursery so i should take the chill pill?
