Called and found out that they have 2 new centres, one in Temasek Club (One-North) and the other in Macpherson area (was told opp Siemens Building).

Like the centre's concept in Temasek Club as they have lots of outdoor activities due to the space available. Was told over the phone that they offering $200 off the full day monthly programme for the 1st 12 months as well as incorporating swimming lessons for the K1 and K2 students.
Wow..sounds value for money. Will definitely check it out. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, currently DD1 is in LV which has been raising prices like its going out of fashion so we're a little concerned about the long term impact on finances, especially with DD2 starting school next year ... have to look for alternatives.

Would anybody be able to share the price of the full day and half day programme?

                Thank!

Full day is $1180 before MCYS subsidy and there is a $200 discount now lasting a year. I think half day is $980 but no $200 discount.

So how much you paying for LV now ?

BTW, how old is your child ?

                  Thank![/quote]

                    Hi,

We will be paying $1050 for DD1 wef Apr 2012. There was a $100 increase last year and this year again. DD1 is 4 this year. They have told us it is highly likely there will be a fee increase every year. For DD1, she just turned 1. If she joins LV next year. it will be at least $1200 as that is the current rate for new entries.

                        Hi,

Just a quick update after viewing the place yesterday.

                        1) Fees: Full day $1180
With opening promo of $200 for 12 months should be $980. MCYS $300 subsidy applies.

                        2) Environment: Pretty satifised as its newly renovated. What really caught my interest is the indoor playground with computer facilities. Was also told by the supervisor that they are also considering computer literacy for the K1/K2 classes once the numbers are in. I guess it will be more cost effective this way. Overall, a very nice setup with lots of space for kids to have outdoor activities (swimming as well)

                        3) Transportation can be a challenge if you don’t drive as the location is quite exclusive.

Personally, with it being a new setup, the student to teacher ration will be really low and I hope to take advantage of it. Its just like personalised tuition instead of my DS’s current school of 1:about 20 children.

By the way, can anyone shed some light on this "Medapolis" project? They are just across the road and I’m wondering will the area be too populated after August? I saw on the contruction site that the estimated completion date is Aug 2012. Pretty soon imho.
