Maybe I am confused that GEP students don't take PSLE.
Most GEP got through DSA, thus do not take PSLE too seriously -
tankee:
But my friend told me, her DS classmates that didn't score above 80% or 85% did not get any CO from DSA. So I think one has to do well enough in GEP in order to got thru DSA, Its not guarantee.baobei:

Should have no problem with Duman High or other sec schools. But they never try.tankee:

Most IP schools require GEP kids to have 80% and above, else need to sit for test(s) like the mainstreamers. It is not a guarantee get-in via DSA, esp. nowadays when there is more competition all around.

So, no edge for GEPpers if they score below 80% compared to mainstreamers who score above 90%?

Whether GEPpers have the edge over the mainstreamers I do not know - that is school internal policy. But I know that GEPper scoring below 80% may be required to sit for test(s) like mainstreamers.
For some schools like NUSH and NJC, doesn’t matter you are GEPpers or mainstreamers, all have to sit for tests. Only when you pass thru’ the test round that you get into the next round.
