As for Chinese dictionary, I use Besta e-dict and also one more printed version. Need to go home to check title. -
Sorry I took so long to reply. The printed/hard copy Chinese dict DH and I got for our DD is called "Concise Eng-Chi/Chi-Eng Dictionary", published by Oxford University Press. It’s a softcover book with a bright red waterproof book jacket. It’s not too small or too big and the weight is also acceptable. I think we bought it at a discount at the bookstore near the factory outlet shop at Harbour Front. It cost less than $20.

You might want to consider getting a Thesaurus too. It helps #2 in finding words for his compo writing at P2.
