pardon me, if my boy is 2005 i got to register myself as PV by mid 2009? thats pretty fast isn't it? :shock:


but i can enter the school by Phase 2A2 so i can register as PV later? I would still like to PV in the school as I want to feel the environment and teachers/principle myself.

Celyw, yes you can sign up as a PV after ur kid gets into the school, they would appreciate ppl like u who genuinely want to help rather than those who wants to get a place via 2B, hee....

aggelim, no no...my boy still long way to P1 :oops: He is 2005 so will only get into P1 when 2012...


but i read somewhere somebody mentioned 2005 kid's parent got to register as PV in mid 2009 hence I am surprised.

anyway, hope by the time I am a PV for NHPS you are still around..

I am new here, and found this site really useful.

Hope someone can advise me. I have submitted for PV in Nan Hua 6 mths ago, have been called up and have since met the principal twice. However, she has not submitted my name as a PV. So far I have done some mini preparation work for her, and is waiting for her approval on my area of contribution. I have email her twice, but no response from her, and I dun feel very good sms-ing her regarding my situation. Dun feel like being too pushy.

My question to mummies with kids in NH:

1) Is the Principal in school during school holiday?

2) Do u think it will be better if I contact her again now during school holiday, or should I wait until school re-open.

3)Any previous mummies who have done PV with NH face the same problem like me?

Kinna stress now cos I am really keen to enrol my child in.

Rio, which year would ur child be registering for P1? 2009 or 2010? If it’s 2009 then I think it is too late as you have to join as a PV before 1 Jul 2008.

My child born in 2004, next year K1, so should be registering in 2010.

I have been reading the forum topics in this website for a while but this is my 1st posting.

I am in the same situation as Rio. I have met the principal of NH 2x and had done some work for her. However, she still has not confirmed me as a PV and neither has she written to me to reject me as a PV.

My boy is born in 2003 so it will be next July that I will need to register him for P1.

I have written to the principal many times and have also spoken to her on several occassions. But each time her reply was that she will get her HOD in-charge to call me. But since July till now, there was still no news.

During my last call with the principal, she seems hesitant to confirm me as a PV due to this year’s balloting in Phase 2B. She said she did not want to have any disappointed PV.

It is so frustrating to have to keep waiting. Not sure if I should just pay the principal another visit or should I just give up the PV work and try to apply under phase 2C. I am staying 1.0xkm away from NH. The 1km cut off at the blk right in front of mine :twisted:
