different punishment for similar offence - why?

The law minister had already debunked it. Sylvia Lim also said she is not alleging it. What more you need?Although I don't follow the case closely, it has been clear to me that the alleging bias mean favouritism of the rich and power.
It has indeed crossed my mind that, perhaps, there is closer scrutiny because of widening wealth gap and maybe because of that it has become fertile ground for politicising.
I was just waiting for the law minister to clarify. If it is a false allegation, it can surely be easily debunked.
Now, i am waiting for the explanation for our sovereign fund accusation.
And what about our sovereign fund? Personally, when it comes to things like our sovereign fund, I find the international financial markets a lot more reliable than some blog. -

[quote=\"WeiHan\"]What is there so corrupted about questioning a seeming irregularity? I still don't get it.
Are we supposed to pretend not to understand what everybody else does - that \"questioning a seeming irregularity\" actually means alleging bias in favour of the rich and famous?

You have just proven the point that social media is wholly inadequate in redressing an untruth once it's out there. The minister has already clarified, was that not in the social media? -

There is equality in Singapore. Except some are more equal...

No. I said new media is just a platform for competition of ideas.

In fact, since there isn't adequate transparency in the authority part, new media has forced the hand of the authority to make clarification. In that case, it acts as an effective check. At least, I get my answer that our judiciary isn't corrupted yet. The accusations ,whether right or wrong is still worthwhile. Better than if the authority is corrupted and we have no way to know. -

Financial market is very corrupted in fact, nowaday. Haven't you all heard of LIBOR manipulation, Madoff etc...and more, our entire fiat currency system is a huge ponzi scheme created by the finance elites.
