If the kid without any external help produces a blank page.. I wonder how he/she will be graded for \"Show and Tell\"..

How about those families who are unable to do anything.. (Not English educated etc..)?

If they're not graded, then I think it's not a big issue to me. Whether they're able to do a decent show-n-tell or not, the teacher will be there to guide them and help the weaker ones (with ref to SAHM_TAN's post).There'll be some that are better, others not so. Anyway, it's just an exposure for the kids to learn \"presentation\" in front of an audience.

HAHAHA. Will it make you feel less unfair if I commented that from what I can gather, the teachers try to help all to pass. That's why teacher will let some students practise more.

Ok limlim, I've voted after you're clarification.

My son would have no prob doing that assessment in T3 bcos he was guided well by his teacher in T2 and I've realistic expectation for a P1 work.

Now that I've done my part of the sharing. Can I check something with you? Ok it's a tad personal and I'll understand if you won't want to answer.

Is it a big issue to you for a parent to be asked to coach a child? In order words, in your opinion, is education - in the form of knowledge transfer - solely the responsibility for the T's?

Even for tingxie, the grade in included in the overall assessment, the teacher will revise with the students, the one I know lah, not sure if it’s for all the classess, so as long as the student pay attention, will be able to pass tingxie without parents’ help.
