Hi, i have a question here. For RVPS, if i am staying next to the school and my hubby is an alumni of the school, will my child stand a better chance to get in? :?
Thanks a million for viewing.

Luckily i got my hubby to join the Alumni early.
Another Question:
I was from ACJC but i am not sure if they have any alumni club/association. I do know of OBA but i think its only for ACS boys from ACS(J), ACS(P), ACS(Barker) and ACS(I). Anyone can provide information on that?
Thank you for reading. Have a nice day/weekend ahead.

hi puliyadi, unfortunately, the only popular school in that vicinity (that accepts girls) I am aware of is Hong Wen - which is a SAP school and offers only chinese as mother tongue.hi,

Pls note, doing PV will only get you to register during phase 2B, but distance is important. If you are staying far away, you may not even get a chance to ballot in the phases. Please view your chances and consider if you are going to move closer to the school during registration, else it'll all be wasted effort.
I remember reading one of the early posts where a mother did more than 100 hours in St Hilda's - but she lived more than 2km away; as a result, she didn't even get a chance to ballot. -

:D
Maybe you need to check whether from ACJC you can enroll yr child into ACS (P) or ACS (Parker). Have ever came across stories like if the child's uncle is from ACS & not the parent, the child also can apply into ACS. Wow thta is really shocking to me.

For your child that was born in 2005, most of the PV application would close in either May or June 2010. Since there is just around 2 weeks from now, you may want to see any schools accepting PV.hi,

:D
Hi, I was from ACJC as well and have been a member of the OBA for years. The OBA is open to all former students of schools from the ACS family, including ladies from ACJC like myself.
Unfortunately, being an ex-student of ACJC and a member of OBA does not qualify you to register in Phase 2A or even 2B. It's 2C, together with the masses! The parent must be an ex-student of ACPS or ACJS to be entitled to Phase 2A in the respective school.
