woops. wah, piaseh. wrong info. Thanks chief for the info on sap school...just wondering, if from River Valley, will you need less points to get into River valley High?
Oh I had checked that River Valley Primary is not in anyway affillated to River Valley High School. Does anyone have any children studied in River Valley Pri?
What are the strong & weak areas of River Valley Primary School? -

No, they are not affiliated. These names sometimes confuse us parents.
Even RGPS and RGS are not affiliated. Even though their uniforms are the same

Any information regarding River Valley Primary School?

Hi,
I am thinking of enrolling my son into West Grove Primary School (staying within 1km) but I heard that the enrollment is very competitive!
On the other hand, my hubby used to be an ex-student of RVPS so I guess our chances are higher to enrol into this school.
Which would be a safer and better choice between River Valley and West Grove?
Please give me your thoughts and advise! -
Yeah you would probably need to ballot if u register in Westgrove even if you stay within 1km. But that means you are staying in Jurong West which is quite far for RVPS.
A lot of ppl are in your shoes every year actually. What you can do is register in RVPS under phase 2A first, then go West grove pri on last day of phase 2C day to gauge your chances, see how many applicants are within 1km vs how many vacancies left. If you think the chances are good, you can withdraw your RVPS application and submit in Westgrove. Else if you think chances are no good, then just remain in RVPS. -
Hi Luanee, thanks for the advise. Do we have to personally withdraw the applications? Guess is really seeing whether I am lucky.

Yes. What these ppl do is usually husband and wife will each station at one school, ie one at RVPS and one at Westgrove. Then communicate via hp and discuss your chances, then withdraw/submit just before application close! Can be quite stressful though

Hi chrislyf18,
Have you check the past balloting history for Westgrove Pri? Need to plan very well for this move as you may ended up no place in a school.
Yes it would be good to ask both parents station at each school.Wait until the last 30 minutes have the live update of registration.
Wish you good luck.
