Is there still a function for inboxes and receiving private messages?

Yes, PMs still work. I have received some PMs recently.

It works? sorry but where? I now see a chat function and notification function (top right), but where is the inbox?

There is an envelope icon next to the notification button in your profile.

i realized it is quite different from the old PM functionality. Now it’s called chatrooms (can have more than 2 people in the private room). And i tried to create one with u and me inside, search box could find your username but when click Create, error message says cannot find user.

And our old PM inbox is all gone, no history, all wiped out lol.

@chenlaoshi I saw this from the main forum and saw “2 posts” only so didn’t go in initially.
Now that I went in, like last reply was a month back, so not sure if everything was migrated.

Ah, managed to create the chatroom. But cannot find any box/field to type first message lol.

Maybe we need to have a faq on how to use/navigate this new forum format
