Please note that the topics in the Educare Forums are not intended for service providers to post advertisements or solicit business from KiasuParents.com members. They are intended for parents to discuss about enrichment services on an independent platform without being controlled by service providers. While service providers are allowed to clarify issues, they are not allowed to post details such as contact information (email, phone numbers, websites). They can only do so in the Buy & Sell Forums.

Service providers who continue to post solicitation information in any of our Forums other than the Buy & Sell Forums will have their accounts banned without notice.

      Please cooperate.

      Thank you.

Is there anyone who will be kindly enough to recommend an A & E math tutor to me? I need the tutor who is experianced helping those students who are not doing well in maths. I am living in Jurong west.
              Thank you!

I strongly agree that branding is not important when it comes to sending your child for enrichment. The teacher is the crucial factor. My niece likes her tutor very much and she is not from a branded company. Word of mouth has more impact still.

Well, what is a good math tuition center? Because there are established? Because they are structured? Because they produced good result? Or Because they have good teachers?

So, everyone has a different view point.

I will think that a good tutor makes a great difference.

So think before you rush to follow the crowd.

You might get a good tutor in your neighborhood.
                  :goodpost:

Absolutely agree... look around the neighbourhood and if possible, speak to the teacher him/herself.

Hi cocolatte, my son is in the K1 class for math, and there is very little homework each week. Was so happy with the pace. You mean this will change when he goes to p1? Sigh, not looking forward!

I think if you pace out and prepare your kids for P1, he should not feel the stress. Most schools, as far as i know, do not have exams, though they have mini tests šŸ™‚

I heard that Learning Point has a very good P1 preparation course for Math K2. They are pretty advanced to do all the Problem sum, division and multiplication. I would like my kid to join? Anyone has sign up too?
