no for grandparents, uncle, aunty, cousins, nephew, niece, etc

only parents & siblings


Phase 2A1

For a child whose parent is a former student of the school and who has joined the alumni association as a member not later than 30 Jun 2009; or whose parent is a member of the School Advisory/Management Committee.

Phase 2A2

For a child whose parent or sibling has studied in the school of choice; or whose parent is a staff member of the school of choice.

No entitlement. Only parents.

No priority for alumni of Sec school.

The parent is only alumni member of the secondary school...afraid to say it doesn't include primary section.

Too bad that priority is not extended to grandparent. :idea: If not, some of us may not need to be PV in the first place liao..

Hey, some of the schools which grandparents attended have closed down.
But if you think about it, if P1 registration goes back to grandparents' time, it wouldn't be fair either.

I’m a newbie to this forum. I’m a ex-HPPS student. My son is born in 2007. I’d like to ask if anyone can enlighten me how i can get my son into the school? Would he be guaranteed a place under phase 2A2? What must i do now? Must i be a parent-volunteer?

Or if he is likely to go into the school under P2A2, when do i register him?

I need some help as i’m totally new in this area!

Hi dear,

Your son will have 99% of getting into HPPS in P2A2. No need to be PV. Just wait for your turn to register your son in 2013 July.
