Chief, for us, I print double sided and throw the paper after done with correction, never revise on the papers again..I would be happy if dd could do one more fresh paper again..that type lor.

It might make sense for them to look through what they did, at least to reinforce the learning. Or simply for bragging rights 😂
I don't know. I just make a ceremony of the throwing away their old test papers at the end of the year... my kids love that.

One good thing about printing the papers ourselves is we can choose to omit certain sections - e.g. 2019 Pri 5 will find the MCQ section in 2018 Pri 5 papers ‘irrelevant’ due to change in CL textbook.

Another advantage is we can ‘control’ how the pages turn out - for those papers which removed the ‘blank page’ formatting. We can print the comprehension passage on 1 paper (blank side can be used as rough paper in the future) and then have the questions printing on another piece - to save the kids the hassle of flipping the papers repeatedly.

On a side note, do note that the answer sheets (for CL papers, at least) are created by the company which printed the papers, not from school. This is why for sections like comprehension, no detailed mark allocation breakdown is provided. I have seen wrong way of answer presentation (such as CL’s 从哪里可以看出 type of question - where the answer involves more than 1 point, i.e. not 1 direct sentence as well as HCL’s 选择最适合的题目 type of question). Do seek school teacher or tutor’s advice for the last ~3 question of these sections to gauge your child’s progress.

The problem with downloading testpapers is that you need to spend lots of ink and blank paper printing them out... and you need thick slabs of completed test papers to revise or simply get the sense of achievement 😂 . That costs more money and effort than simply buying testpapers in bulk.

What do you guys do with completed test papers? Throw them away?
            printed all in office

after done , paper use during makan at home haha

agree! sometimes for my children, looking at a thinner stack they are less put off and more driven to do.

The Sec sch Express exampapers are available for sale at Bras Basah & Clifford Centre & Raffles Place (for mums working in that area). Best go to the Secondary sch thread, as this is for Pri sch examnpapers sharing.
