1. Go attend the parents orientation, best to bring your spouse or another adult along. One to listen to the briefing, another to go buy uniforms, PE attires and books. Less crowded when the briefing is on, once over long queues. Briefing slides will be available for download on school website.
2. Take note of the food being sold at the canteen and their prices. This would allow you to determine how much allowance to give and whether to pack snack.
3. Brush up on phonics and 汉语拼音, it would help in reading and spelling. -

regarding the reading list, thks... I will try and try... just bought her like 10 books to read but she is very stuck to geronimo stilton... -
DS’s iCreative Learner teacher advised against reading just Geronimo Stilton because of the made-up words used and lack of "catchy" phrase.
