      Haha.. ๐Ÿ˜‚ good thinking..

Friends used to ask if studying in Tao Nan stressful..
I think it all depend on the attitude of parents and the child.
For my child, she doesn't seem to find it stressing because she does not compare herself with other kids in the class. She does not go around and ask how many marks the others score.
Sometimes, I would ask her how her classmates fare in the papers just to have a feel of the difficulty of the papers, she would just shrug off and say she never ask.

Well, luckily her results weren't too bad so far....
So sometimes I think its good too that she doesn't give herself too much pressure. A lot of times, we are the ones who give ourselves the stress!

Same here. DS always come back with no or minimal homework - but I nv got any phone calls from his teachers that he didnt do his work, so I presume he is ok. He's also the bochap type so no stress for him ๐Ÿ™‚ Yes, good thing his results are alright too ๐Ÿ™‚

Parents do not join in as per se.

The kids will be \"orientated\" to their teachers/ classroom and around the school. The parents will have a briefing by Principal and then will go to their classroom (the kids would have left to walk round the school), check their particulars, fill in GIRO form (it is good if you have the bank account numbers with you, otherwise you have to probably returned the GIRO form on the first day of school), dental consent form etc. You can buy the uniforms and books on that day, or come back another day as the queue will be very long.
