My P3 boy brought back an Edusave form regarding some CCA lessons for Wushu and swimming and other stuff.
Does anyone know if lessons are conducted after school or during curriculum hours? What's the schedule like if it is afternoons?
TIA. -

i understand CCAs are not compulsory for Primary 3-6. If that’s the case, is it still recommended to sign up for at least one CCAs? Because as it is, my kid already has enough of work from school and attending extra classes. Don’t want to overload if CCA is not compulsory in TNS. Any comments? Thanks!

how do you think of the bus transportation system?
Pricing are going up generally for the past years.
Safety, Security, delays, individual bus route in-charge, no automate system.
May be it is time to improve and better efficiency and quality to give assurance to the parents. -
My kid is in P3 this year. can anybody tell me whether the kids will be streamed again according to their results in P4, and every year, in P5 and P6? TIA!
-

Don't think CCA is compulsory. there will be a CCA fair on 26 Jan. you may like to take a look. Actually some are interesting and provide a holistic education for your child and not work work and more work all the time! -
IMHO
Without CCA, school is pretty much just study, homework and examinations.
Most of my fond memories of my primary school days are CCA related. Thus, I strongly encouraged DS to pick a CCA he likes last year.
Of course I am concerned of the extra hours, thus the thought of replacing an enrichment class that he was attending with the CCA did cross my mind. Eg Arts Club instead of his weekend art lessons, Wushu instead of the weekly wushu class at CC.
He ended up with Science Club which is a subject he loves. Science Club do fin science experiments with its members, eg how to fold a paper plane to make it fly further and what’s the theory behind it, how to drop an egg from a floor up without breaking it and what’s the theory behind that, …
