        Jennifer:

Hi, just want to let P5 parents know that most schools will buy the PSLE booklet for the pupils.

At present, there are 2 publishers available at Popular Bookstore.

EPH sells the model answer sheets tge with the booklet. There is also a parents' guide to explain the PSLE exam format.

SAP sells the model answer separately. Go to the Popular cashier counter to tell the salesperson u want to buy x subject model answer sheets.

Schools do not give the answer sheets to the pupils.

Both publishers PSLE booklets feature the same qns, no need to buy both copies.

The compo answer sheets are different.

I would encourage bringing your child to Popular to read the EPH answer sheets for the compo to get a feel what type of content is encouraged.

Make good use of this sch hols to brush up.

One good EL revision material is from Teachers @ Work assessment books. Doing the grammar assessment book will throw up any misconception or weaknesses you child have all these while.

For Maths, make sure your child is comfortable with the Units & Parts transfer method which is as good as algebra and easier to understand than algebra for some children.

All the best to you child.

Champion, thank you for the pics.
