Hi Doris,
Hee we are more than 2KM from Nanyang and I don't intend to send my kiddo to that school :). We are also slightly 2KM away from Henry Park, am thinking of joining RC for Bkt Timah-Holland and try my luck for Henry Park Phase 2B, is this wise? -
Hi Genisis, which year is your child going to P1?
-
Good morning Big Devil,
2016. oops a potential KSP in the making hehe.  just more info, my hubby used to be in the RC committee as executive member just that due to overseas work commitment, he cannot join the RC anymore. He is thinking of rejoining when he is back but alas realised that NHPS does not falls under Holland anymore :(. Therefore now I am thinking of asking him to join Holland Bkt Timah for HPPS despite we are slightly 2km off. -

Good morning Mummy of 3,
Eh does that mean that I still stand a chance to go HPPS despite being out of 2km, that is if my hubby can join back RC as executive member under Holland- Bkt Timah GRC? I won't want to send my kiddo to other schools cause its too far, HPPS and NHPS are the nearest to me. Thanks so much for your help
:thankyou: -
The good news is that up until P1 registration in 2010, HPPS did not require balloting in Phase 2B (http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/bukit-timah). If this trend continues, then you will very likely get a place in HPPS.
However, we are talking about P1 registration in 2015. A lot can change within the next 3 years.
So first thing first, get your hubby back into the RC as an exec member. Then monitor registrations 2012 - 2014 to better gauge your chances. While doing that, you will also need to think of a backup plan if things don't work out.
Good luck! -
Good afternoon Big Devil,
My backup plan is PV but I know NHPS PV is very hard to get in, hope my skillsets can match what the school requires. In the meantime, get my hub back to RC as exec member and pray hard that for the next few years, no balloting required for HPPS.
Thank you so much for your advice :thankyou: -

After the last GE, Tanjong Pagar GRC is not that popular anymore. Now is Moulmein-Kallang.
