Who will you hire?

of coz S Pass holder at cheaper rate. Both need to train, might as well try cheaper one.

Since Govt offer S pass for cheap workers.. 不拿白不拿.. even if can well afford more exp local grads. Unless govt don't give.. if give, of coz take lah..

Like that ar, looks like T-score, doing modelling @ P6 math, knows 2nd lang not much value add leh. Quite sure none of these S-pass need to 'suffer' these chim chim stuff before 12.
good point..

but doubt some of those SME or even MNC boss factor all this in.. most is want cheap cheap (profit driven mah..).. plus not sure if they even do background check if the degree is real or not..

Fresh SG grad asking for $3K, or

Fresh S Pass holder asking for $2K...
Neither. I will hire a mature SC non-graduate with work experience at somewhere between $2-3k. He/she will need less training and is less likely to job hop. A degree is over-rated.

Yours must be a low value added job that don't require the workers to find relevant information independently, solve the relevant differential equations, create mathematical models and do computer simulations for the problems.
Ex-manager earns $7k as cabby
Mr Muhammad Hasnor Hashim, 32, quit his $5,000 a month job as a security manager a year ago to become a cabby, and he has no regrets.
\"My taxi is a money machine,\" said the father of three, who has a diploma in administration. \"Every day, I see the money and it is directly dependent on how hard I work.\"
He earns an average of about $7,000 a month working Mondays to Saturdays, he said, and gets to join his family for dinner every day. Sunday is his day off.
The driver with Premier Taxis finds it puzzling when some cabbies complain that it is a struggle to earn a living. It could be because some are semi-retired and spend time in coffee shops chatting, he said...
No need study hard... No need compete with FTs... 🦆

It just shows that if anyone is willing to work hard and work smart, you still pull in the big bucks

Instead of all the grumblings and whining against foreigners. There will be more whining if one day foreigners are allowed to drive taxi in Singapore
