Yong HL:
I'm telling myself I won't get tempted to go Expo as petrol is too expensive.janet_lee88:
No lah, just that there are so many titles in the market and it's such a headache sieving through them. So I'm taking a shortcut by asking parents what titles they get and I just go straight and take a look.
i am restraining myself from buying too many assessment books everytime i go popular.. sigh. Plus there is a popular bookfair coming up on 18March at expo... struggling to decide whether go or not go, knowing myself... -

[/quote]The other reasons is the distance & $$$. If I go Expo, sure end up spending money on some unnecessary stuff again. If I go and don't buy, then what's the point right ?

Same here, i will go during Dec bookfeast.
I think it will be good if popular can have their sales on beinging of school holiday. At least the children will have some time to do assessment during holiday.
Yong HL, i also need to control my buying.:)
Normally how many pages of assessment books will your children do daily? I used to give my girl two pages daily but find it too slow.
