Aiyoh... you just buy \"insurance\" by securing the SJIJ place first today. Then you can still believe in HIM at Phase 2C if ratio is low. Don't take the risk...He helps those who help themselves!

Actually SJIJ is good, cos there is affliation to secondary school, similar to CHS. Worry less in P6.
Not very far from bishan too if you go by marymount road to thomson road, just the jams at the TMC stretch may get quite terrible. I'm sure school bus can settle the logistics issue

I stay right beside CHS and also originally hoped to enrol my boy into CHS in Phase 2C, but from the looks of it, the chances are really slim. So luckily I'm kiasu a bit and enrolled my boy into Pei Chun in Phase 2A1 which I'm an alumni of.
U did very good thing, this way you can also review ur chances while satisfied at one end thinking atleast u oredi enrolled -

Can someone advise how to put kid on waiting list for CHS? Must we fail both Phase 2B and 2C at CHS then can join waiting list or anyone can join the list?

I'm not sure have u people heard about SJIJ actually produce a lot of lawyers? This is what I have heard while talking to many parents. -
