is the student care service good?

Hi, I just enquire on the enrollment of the student care - Tender Loving Care. The principle informed that they will not be accepting anymore new students based on below reasons:
1) They will be undergoing renovations in due time
2) They have plans to convert the student care into childcare and is now waiting approval from MCYS

Parents, if you wanna search for student care centres, pls do so now as I believe most of student care centres will be full soon.

My boy is in P1 at APS this year. They already stop doing HCL in P1. It is normal chinese for P1 at APS this year.

Is that so? According to their slides, it seems that some selected children will do higher Chinese in p1. Probably those in the Chinese best class will do higher Chinese.

@mashy, yes. i am very clear on that. i have spoken and asked the chinese teachers as well. no higher Chinese for all P1 this year. past few years is HCL from p1 onwards, maybe this year due to change in syllabus? not too sure.

Not sure if next year also the same, younger boy is joining p1 next year, i shall see and update.

Fyi, Anderson pri will have in house student care from 2017 onwards.

Hi Parents of P1 students, in today’s English spelling, the word "jigaree" appears twice in the spelling list. Is this an useful word? Or is there even such a word in the English context? What is the meaning? Why are our children learning it when there are other more important vocabulary words to be taught. Can anyone share your thoughts. Thank you.
