It depends on what you refer to. If it's the family workshops, yes. But if regarding school work, no. They just distributed PowerPoint slides to the p5 parents this year. Didn't bother to hold a workshop. And when there is one, there's no q&a so you can't ask any questions. Feels like they are deliberately keeping the parents at arm's length.

Mashy, thanks for your reply. What are family workshops about? What did they do at family workshops?

Many schools give academic workshops for parents to help the kids. Wonder why Anderson does not provide. :scratchhead: No feedback to Principals on this?

The family workshops are the usual stuff, how to communicate with your kid, dealing with your tween that sort of stuff.

I also dunno why. Not sure if anyone gave any feedback to the school. Its the sort of school where if your kid is a high performer, he/she will be given a lot of opportunities. But if just average or below, you will just be around like the air. You won’t be offered any chances to take part in anything because the Teachers select the kids, including extra enrichment classes.

oh dear, sad to hear that.

You mean they didn’t hold supplementary classes to help the average students?

In dilemma now, not sure if Anderson is a good school…

They do have remedial classes for p3 and p4 for the students. Just that when there are other extra enrichment stuff like public speaking, it's only limited to selected outstanding students.
