I have a child in P1.4. No complains so far. I like my child’s teacher. Speaks calmly and shares good tips with me. She’s new to d sch but I can see how experienced she is. My child says the class has lunch date with her every Thursday in the canteen. They bring back lots of activities and all homework are indicated in school diary. This term they learnt to write comics!! How cool! I get to see their updates sometimes in their class facebook. its not always abt exams and marks. The teacher is very impt. I spoke to other parents during dismissal. We are so happy to get her. So its not true. APS do have gd teachers too parents

I think all the good teachers are in lower primary. Lol. I'm also happy with my kid's teachers despite having changed twice over 2 years. -
I realized that many children from other schools took the UNSW English and maths papers. Did Anderson do that coz I don’t recall anything about it?

Hi. As a parent of two kids in Anderson Pri, I’ve also experienced much frustrations and unhappiness with the school in many areas. But I’ve since given up complaining over time. Problems are not resolved after spending my time reflecting to them. There’s just no words to describe.
More problems, whether admin or academic, are bound to surface when the school locate to the temporary site for the next two years. sigh… -
That’s for sure. They haven’t even addressed the traffic issue, how the parents should drop off their children next year etc considering that St Nicholas is just nearby. I think the school is poorly managed.

Any parents from P1 class has got the report card? Or was anyone being informed when the report will return to us or will there be one? How would we know the progress of our kids if there is no report card? I got the folder but the folder is just not good enough as it do not provide me the overall picture of what was taught, learned and progress through the entire year.
I have to fully agree the school truly need to work on communicating and bridging the gap since there are so many doubtful parents. Hopefully things will get better before it get worst. I sincerely hope that someone who works in the school are reading all these and truly understand the frustration most parents are going through, things do not happen overnight but it do happened for a reason.
I have hope in the school but I would not wish for the hope to diminish. -

I really agreed that the school is too lax -
Does it mean it will base on academic results?
I called the teacher last week, she was so unfriendly and not willing to disclose anything. She kept directing me to the admin.
