you just have to pay another $20 per month if taking the 4.30pm return trips if your gal is staying back for CCA or other activities.
Huh? still gt to pay extra? tot 180 is round trips? this school bus operator is really sucky...or all school bus operators are like that? -

AshAvri:
Do note that it is $180 EVERY month, including the months during school holidays when the bus don't operate. So in June, November and December, you have to pay the bus fare too.nope 2014 intake.
$180 is for one month return trip - i think one way only cost slightly cheaper.
timing could change depending on demand...for my case most prob will drive child to sch and sch bus for pick up after sch. -
The extra $20 is only if they stay back and if you need to take the return trips at 4.30pm.
U need to pay for school holidays for the school buses, this is the norm everywhere. -

Ya, I heard about that...i still find it ridiculous...paying for something that we dont use.
cant believe we have to do that. -
dino3112:
so the above should be having the same ridiculous reason why they want us to pay during school holidays too.The extra $20 is only if they stay back and if you need to take the return trips at 4.30pm.

shouldn't it be fair that if my kid did not take the normal times, which i assumed is around 2pm, and take the 430pm, is still 1 trip back. not as if she took 2 trips back.
oh i know. $20 extra per month is for the 430pm PEAK hour rate? -
Under 2A1 registration is on 9jul, timing is 8 - 11 and 2.30 - 4.30.
Better chance if we go for the 8am timing? Although all these yrs no balloting for phrase 2A1 but still worry. -
ELMO:
Don't worry, phase 2A- all will get in.Under 2A1 registration is on 9jul, timing is 8 - 11 and 2.30 - 4.30.

Hi All, I am an old gal of St Nicks. Initially am quite certain to put my #1 in SNGS since I used to be from there. But my #2 is a boy. Back then i recall our peers brothers are either from Cat High or Maris but i guess there is no such affiliation anymore. Anyone in the same situation as me?
-
Yup, you're right there is no affiliation at all.
Same case with me, cos #2 is a boi too.
Well, I definately have no regrets putting my #1 in SNGS as she loved the school. -
SBKS:
Sigh... I guess this is so they can claim monthly bus fare is \"reasonable\". Honestly, I find the bus operators for St. Nicks to be very inflexible and  I used to give ang pows to the drivers when my daughter was in kindergarten, and happily too. Not anymore.Ya, I heard about that...i still find it ridiculous...paying for something that we dont use.

You going? I'm still thinking about it ... -
ChiefKiasu:
i tink more for adding in 3 months overall to make their Profits reasonable.

wah still give AP to drivers? power sia. did they change management or all the while they are like that?
sigh... can anyone give me an example that we have to pay monthly even if we dun use it excluding those with contracts. trying to psycho myself. -
SBKS:
That was a different operator lah. I don't recall having to pay during holidays then, so I was quite taken aback when they asked for the fees last December. Dunno if this is standard practice across all school bus operators. And yeah... I'm about as annoyed as you on this practice.i tink more for adding in 3 months overall to make their Profits reasonable.

SBKS:
