Welcome back. Hope the other parents and the kids all well rested. 2nd term has started and soon the long June holiday is just around the corner, . Of course before the long holiday, there is this SA1 to deal with first. Hehe. Hope the kids are more prepared this time.

Thanks for the tips on Universal Studio. I think I will wait for a few more years before bringing my kids there. Haha.

For those who live nearer to Bishan, I would like to invite you to come visit the newly revamp Bishan Park. The kids will have good time walking in the river and be close to the fishes in the river. When hungry, there is a McDonald and market just nearby. It is beautiful and closer to nature now. Now it has become the favorite park for my two boys as well.

Anyone know the situation of the canteen now? Any new changes? When I asked my DS, he told me the queue was still long and he still prefers packed lunch. Just wonder when I can start letting him try buying food himself.

Who knows? I might have passed you by at the park:-). Heard there was an opening ceremony last week. Too bad we were out of town. It is strange that there was no flyer telling the residents nearby about the opening :-(.

The school will send out letter on the test date and holiday dates this term. My DS has not received his copy yet. But think should be given out soon.

You can refer to the school letter dated 4 January as there is an assessment tables guide for P3-6. ( Written Papers start from 26 April - 14May). I believe the P1-2 will follow the same dates of Eng/Math/MT.

i intend to register my DD this year to TGPS, 2013 P1. I was hesitating between Marymount Convent and TGPS. Can you give me some feedback and also is there school arrangement to pick up kids, P1 after CCA?

Welcome to the TGPS Forum.

I believe your are referring to School Bus services for after CCA pick up? Yes, currently, the school bus vendor has arrangement for children who attend CCA after school hours. You may wish to contact the vendor to check with them regarding the routing as i am not sure where is your residential address and if the transport coy covers your area. The current vendor is Hong Yun Bus Services.

Yes, it has been quiet since we last posted. Everyone was busy with preparing of SA1 and now enjoying the school holiday.

Glad to hear that you will be registering your DD to the TG family.

TGPS is having it open house event on 30 June 2012, Saturday. So do bring you DD along and have some fun.

Hi all. I am new in this forum. can anyone share with me if there is balloting for phase 2c, within 1-2km in P1 registration in last couple of years? will i have a slim chance being a Permanent resident?

Welcome to the TGPS Forum. If my memory didn't failed me - there was balloting for Phase 2C last year but i am not sure of the proximity and also citizenship of the applicants. Sorry for unable to furnish you with the exact details.

TGPS is having its open house on 30th June, may i invite you and your child to come along and join us for the event. At the same time, you can approach the school teachers/staff to get the information from them.
