Thks Rejoice, I am not a neat freak but my youngest just turned 2. So still need to mop and put things away daily. As I’ve decided the arrangement next year, I know that somehow things will work out. I also look forward to the day my children will even ask for second helpings because they like my cooking…

        Hi Beauty and concern_mum,

:rahrah: Let's share our joys and headache next year about house-keeping and bringing up kids and encourage each others :snuggles:

          Hi TGPS friends

I suggest we don’t do all the general household cleaning in a single day. Break them into smaller part which is more manageable. For instance, you sweep and mop the floor on every Tuesday and Friday, clean part of the window once a week, change the bedsheet on those days that you do not need to mop the floor. Keep the weekend free from housework but keep it for quality time with the kids. Clean the toilet everytime after you have taken your shower. Thorough cleaning can be done once a week. For those simple task such as putting the laundry into the washer, wash the disher after meal or clean the table can ask the kids to do.

I have a automatic vacuum cleaner to vacuum my floor everyday. Mop only once a week since my boys are bigger now :-p. I think once the routine is set up and we become more efficient and will be able to do things faster.

              Hi all,

Did you all follow PM Lee ND Rally last eveing? Was so proud at one point when he mentioned about being oversea, on his personal vacation, and 2 ladies walked up to him and asked to be photographed with PM Lee. He commented: The 2 ladies said: \"we are teachers from Teck Ghee Primary School\" :rahrah: . Told me girl to look at the photo and she recognised both the teachers... 😉

He showcased them as being Proud to be Singaporean, even when they were oversea.

Also TVPS was showcased as an excellent example of neighbourhood school. Very happy that both MOE minister and PM Lee are giving so much recognition and highlight to neighbourhood schools as every school is a Good School.

              Cheers,
              Astee

                Hi all,

Happy school holiday! To start off the school holiday, DSs and I went to the roller blading session organized by TGPS. It was a well organized event.we have ample chance to practice plus some safety tips. Both of my boys had great fun. To my pleasant surprise, package lunch nad fruit were provided at the end. Hope they will organize more of these kinds of events in the future :-).

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday. The school term for 2012 will be over in 2.5 months time. Looking forward to it :-).

To Beauty, Ninjago and concern_ mum, during the PTC session on Friday, one of the teachers also told me that the school may revert back to dismissal at 1:15pm or 1:45pm. The teacher also commented that my DS seems less lively in class during term three. And the long school hour may be part of it. So looks like Astee’s road side news seems very real now :-).

Actually the school should quickly inform parents of any change in timing next year. Already Sept. parents need time to make arrangement. Hopefully the change, if any, will be official asap

                    Hi Beauty,

Last year, we were told about the new school time just before the end of term 4. I think the school will likely inform all future P1 parents during the orientation in Nov. now I just treat that the four packed-lunch-days is over next year. yeah!

I will arrange my DD to take school bus. Think we have to get up real early. Anyone can share what time is the school bus picking now?

Yeah yeah! 🕺 I am all for the early start and early dismissal. 1.15pm would be just nice. Can't imagine prinary sch with 3 main subjects has the same sch time with sec sch with 8 to 9 subjects.
