      Hihi,

According to DS, p2 top student is in 3D. Not sure how accurate DS is. Haha

        Hi Bluebellas,

If you see your DS ranking, you would have an idea that this may be the academic class.

Fyi, my DS classmate was the top student for P2 and she is in this class. πŸ˜„

I always think that to stream them at P2 is a little too early but probably that's how school can help the students in their strenght and weakness.

With the introduction of Science in P3 and more challenging works in other subjects. The child has to maintain his/her capabilities to keep up to the challenges. There is no en-bloc from P3 to P4.... πŸ˜‚

As parents, we just need to keep encouraging our DS in this new transition.

        Good Luck!

        Cheers,
        Astee

            Hi

I missed some information during the P1 orientation. Can somebody share with me information on the 1st day of school? Reporting time and parents meeting area.

Based on the school hours, chn are to be in school by 7.40 am. My understanding is that P1 parents can straight away send child to the classroom. After that I don't know where parents are to gather. Play by ear. I intend to bring all 1A WB, drawing block, files, etc. hopefully the FT will collect them all in the first 2 days since I can help to carry my DD bag right into the classroom.

Hi. Thanks for the info. Was also wondering about the first day.

I have another query. Which set of uniform do you sew the name tags? Should the tag be above or below the badge?

                Thanks!

                  Hi all,

Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

                  Hi Concern_mum,

Based on my experience two years ago, the parents would send the kids to class rooms on the first day. Then of cause all parents will just stand outside of the classrooms making sure their little ones are fine, and taking lots of photos ;-). When it is time the VP will come to drag all parents away from their kiddos and move AVA room for e presentation πŸ˜‰ Did you sign up for the parental talks for day 1 and 2? If you have, just hang around the class room and the teacher will tell you where to go for the talk.

                  Hi Lowym,

You will need to sew name tag on both uniform and PE shirts. It should be sewed below the school badge for both cases. For boy's uniform that has a pocket, I will sew it on top of the pocket. Hope this help.

                  Rejoice

Hi mummies, it was sure nice to know quite a no. of your DS and DD are in the same class, 1 Hope. Hope they will settle in their class and enjoy it. At least, if my DS is blur blur, I can still ask around.

Can I ask a qns? Do we have to bring all the books?

                      Hi Deskibi,

Glad to know another knight in 1 Hope class :-).

On the first day of school, you just need to bring the part A or part one of the text books, the subject folders and files and two copies of the exercise books each to school. Make sure they are all labeled with name. The teacher will keep the books for the kids and only give them back when necessary. Since the parents will be in school on the first day, it works out well that the parents can help the little ones lug those heavy books to school :-). Hope this help.

                        Hi Rejoice

Many thanks for the info. The subject files meaning all those different colors files?
The bag is sure heavy with all those books. I have packed all the textbook and part A in the bag.
