Hi. Thanks for the info. Was also wondering about the first day.

I have another query. Which set of uniform do you sew the name tags? Should the tag be above or below the badge?

      Thanks!

        Hi all,

Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

        Hi Concern_mum,

Based on my experience two years ago, the parents would send the kids to class rooms on the first day. Then of cause all parents will just stand outside of the classrooms making sure their little ones are fine, and taking lots of photos ;-). When it is time the VP will come to drag all parents away from their kiddos and move AVA room for e presentation ๐Ÿ˜‰ Did you sign up for the parental talks for day 1 and 2? If you have, just hang around the class room and the teacher will tell you where to go for the talk.

        Hi Lowym,

You will need to sew name tag on both uniform and PE shirts. It should be sewed below the school badge for both cases. For boy's uniform that has a pocket, I will sew it on top of the pocket. Hope this help.

        Rejoice

Hi mummies, it was sure nice to know quite a no. of your DS and DD are in the same class, 1 Hope. Hope they will settle in their class and enjoy it. At least, if my DS is blur blur, I can still ask around.

Can I ask a qns? Do we have to bring all the books?

            Hi Deskibi,

Glad to know another knight in 1 Hope class :-).

On the first day of school, you just need to bring the part A or part one of the text books, the subject folders and files and two copies of the exercise books each to school. Make sure they are all labeled with name. The teacher will keep the books for the kids and only give them back when necessary. Since the parents will be in school on the first day, it works out well that the parents can help the little ones lug those heavy books to school :-). Hope this help.

              Hi Rejoice

Many thanks for the info. The subject files meaning all those different colors files?
The bag is sure heavy with all those books. I have packed all the textbook and part A in the bag.

                  Hi Deskibi,

You are welcome. Yes, use a separate bag to park those folders and workbooks and exercise books. That way the school bag won't be busted on the first day ๐Ÿ˜‚

                  Hi Ninjago,

I can't remember exactly but the teachers sometime did keep the textbooks like the English grammar book and the Math text book. So sometime I don't really know what my DS learn from school. ๐Ÿ˜„

Hehe, less than one week to school starts. I still haven't wrapped the text books and sew the name tags on the uniform. Looks like I am going to be busy till school starts ๐Ÿ˜“ . It is also time to train the little one to go to bad early and wake up early for school next week. Hope all of you are doing well in the training :xedfingers:
