      Hi Deskibi,

You are welcome. Yes, use a separate bag to park those folders and workbooks and exercise books. That way the school bag won't be busted on the first day ๐Ÿ˜‚

      Hi Ninjago,

I can't remember exactly but the teachers sometime did keep the textbooks like the English grammar book and the Math text book. So sometime I don't really know what my DS learn from school. ๐Ÿ˜„

Hehe, less than one week to school starts. I still haven't wrapped the text books and sew the name tags on the uniform. Looks like I am going to be busy till school starts ๐Ÿ˜“ . It is also time to train the little one to go to bad early and wake up early for school next week. Hope all of you are doing well in the training :xedfingers:

                    hi,

What do you normally prepare for your kids for their power break? Need some idea as my DD joined the TGPS P1 this year.

                      Dear all parents of TGPS,

                      Firstly - Wishing all a Happy 2013 !!

Secondly - Enjoy the first year of TGPS Learning Journeys with your DD & DS. I am in my 5th and 3rd years respectively and still everyday i learn new things. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Thirdly, we are here to share our experienced with all new and \"senior\" parents, so please feel free to contribute your ideas and we can always bring it forward to the school for area of improvement or compliments. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@Mng_KL, thanks for the \"bows\" and honestly, without all the Q&As, this forum will not be so lively and spontaneous, so keep it all coming.I know as new P1 parents, there will be more Q&As along the way.

Last but not least, good luck to all the P1 kiddos and i know they will be independent really soon. :imcool:

                      Regards.

Haha. Finally survive the first day of school. No crying P1 kids this year and the parental talk is quite lively and interesting. I did learn a trick or two.

DS2 commented school is very fun tonight. I hope it stay this way. As usual, the teachers have collected most of the books. So tomorrow my boysโ€™ bags will be light as feather, hehe. Really gladful for the school to be so thoughtful.

So how were other kiddos doing today?

Hi concern_mum, I wanted to give DSs banana for power break but they are having some cough now so canโ€™t have banana. DS2 lost his front teeth so canโ€™t really take whole apple. So at the end I bought them Soyjoy bar instead. They seem to like it. I would musle bar might be good too. Hope that help.
