      Hi Astee,

Glad I read your post now. DS did not even mention about homework :-(. Asked him just now then he said Ah. :slapshead: looks like having parent support group at KSP is good. And I need to check his work more thorough next time. Haha.

Somehow this year's meet the parent is rather early in end Jan. in the past it used to be at end of term one. I wonder if there is change of policy and what the teacher going to say given only less than one month to observe all 30 to 40 kids.

Asked DS about the FT. So far his comment is good. Let's see when the gear switches higher and if the kids still enjoy the school. Haha.

          Hi Bluebellas,

Strict is good. Like the VP said strict out of love, hahaha. Heard normally schools will put good teachers in the academic class. Not sure if it is the case for TGPS. We will see on 25 Jan during the meet the parent session ;-).

            Hi rejoice,

No worries, today your son forgot his HM, tmor will be mine turn...so we help each other to keep track of their HM schedule. 😉

I believe the upcoming meet-the-parents session is like the kopi-session for P1, it's a general meet up for all the parents to know the school directive, that's why there are 2 timings. My DD told me it's not the usual 1-to-1 PTM that takes place at the end of the terms. 😄

I saw the new FT photo at the school board and she looks pleasantly sweet, not sure if she is strict. will get to know more when PTM time or LJ session.

            Regards,
            Astee

Hi, so far, my DS is coping well in school and hope that he will continue to enjoy going to school. He loves the PE lesson. I am also wondering how the parents meeting on 25 Jan will be like.

Today DS2 came back sad because he lost his little coin bag in school. He told me the MT teacher for 1H told all the kids to remove the coin bags though his bag was chained to the pants. After removal of the bag, he was distracted and forgot where he placed the bag. Poor DS2 cried for a long while since he considered this a big deal. Just wondering any other kids from 1H had the same experience. I am also wondering why the MT teacher told them to remove the coin bag. This week of school would have been perfect if not for this incident:-).

                  Hi rejoice,

Your son is so responsible! My gal simply doesn’t take care of her things. Lost her water bottle but did not feel a tinge of sadness. I saw her left her coin pouch on the tuckshop table and wandered off. Luckily her buddy reminded her to take her coin pouch with her. Wonder what will happen next week when she is alone without her buddy.

                      Hi Cmum,

Different kids have different personality. DS2 is the more responsive one while DS1 simply does not care also. DS1 lost his watch, water bottle, folder, thermometer and some time books in school. Fortunately, the kind souls in TGPS often return them to Lost and Found. The younger brother is more careful and making sure he has his stuff back all the time. I think it is just the unfamiliar environment and excitement that made him forgot this time. Haha.

The worse thing is I pulled out this coin pouch just before school and did not have time to sew his name :-(. So even someone found it will not know it is his. May be I will write to the FT with description of the coin pouch and see if she can help to locate it. If not, just treat it as a school fee paid for a lesson for both him and I and hopefully for DS1 as well. Hahaha

                      Hi Bluebellas,

I asked my Ds1 and he said not all kids from 3D go to the same MT class. Looks like they have already split the class based on P2 performance. So likely your DS’ MT teacher did not give any homework.

DS1 said he has Math homework from school for the weekend. Hehe, you may want to check with DS to see if he has completed it.

                        Hi Rejoice,

my DS also lost his wallet yesterday. We kept his wallet in the bag as the PE short does not have a hook on it. But he cannot remember where and how he lost it. Luckily, he lost it after recess. So at least, he has eaten before losing it 😂 I only got to know he lost his wallet as the FT called me and mentioned she has found the wallet. My DS apologies to me and asked me not to scold him when I asked him where is his wallet.

I hope your DS2 will be able to find his wallet.

Will the missing wallet or coin pouch always happen when they have PE lessons?
