      Hi Rejoice

she went to Kindergarten before her P1 and enjoyed very much … She loves her teachers and friends there .
we were surprised that she behaves this way … its sad to see her cry and afraid to go to school every morning …

we will talk to her teacher if necessary …

      thanks for your advice!

        Hi rejoice

My DS also fell from piano stool n scared the young piano teacher. But both laughed over it as their piano room has carpet floor 🙂
DS said the 1A boy got blood at his shirt back but no ambulance and all the 1B kids just went over with their Chinese teacher to peek at 1A.

        Hi Mao
Welcome. I had your same experience 2 yrs back in N2 when I intro a new childcare to DS. All the smooth ongoing music n Chinese lessons went haywire after I changed his childcare. I used to be able to leave him in classroom and go. But with the change, he refused to let me go out of sight. I was like a big giant in the class of kids. I believe is sense of security. I talk to teacher in front of him to show my trust in the teacher. When he cries, I just smile at teacher, wish him a good day and let teacher bring him away.
You can chat with her daily and ask her how she feels about incidents in school. Role play with her if she is in certain situations. Like I role play with my DS on buying food in canteen, approaching and making friends. He always tells me he says hello but the other person don respond. So I will explain maybe teacher is talking and they don want to be scolded or they are shy - try again or talk to others.... Needs patience and support to help her move on....

              Hi Deskibi & Rejoice,

My DS also lost his wallet on 7/1/13, Monday. He also lost it after recess. His buddy ask him go to general office and check. Luckily, he got it back.

              Hi Rejoice,
my DS also lost his wallet yesterday. We kept his wallet in the bag as the PE short does not have a hook on it. But he cannot remember where and how he lost it. Luckily, he lost it after recess. So at least, he has eaten before losing it 😂 I only got to know he lost his wallet as the FT called me and mentioned she has found the wallet. My DS apologies to me and asked me not to scold him when I asked him where is his wallet.

I hope your DS2 will be able to find his wallet.

Will the missing wallet or coin pouch always happen when they have PE lessons?

                MI5Tropper,

Yes, leaves are important to working parents, especially with school-going children.

I have a feeling that this \"Meet-The-Parent\" is not the one-to-one session that we used to attend, at the end of Term 1 and Term 3. As this session required ALL Parents to be seated by 3pm in the child's classroom, i look at it as a forum sharing session. It's also a good chance to know whom the child's FT are and what is HER VISION for the class.. 😂

Also most importantly, a chance for us parents to network with other parents of your own child's class. I find that it's useful especially if our own kid is on MC or sometimes being a \"blur sotong\" 😉 , may miss out on some details from the FT. Parents then can share with each other and update on latest happening of the class... (Personally i had benefitted from the alliances that i had formed for my DS's class.)

We are considered lucky that TGPS is holding different Parents session to allow us parents to be better informed and guided along with our child's School Learning Journey.

I had heard about schools which do not communicate or minimum communication (One PTM for whole year) with parents and left many parents guessing most of the time. :nailbite:

So if you do have enough leaves to spare, i would suggest that you attend the session, if not, probably similar to what i am doing, get some help from other parents of your child's class. I know 1G parents group is quite active too. :boogie:

                Regards,
                Astee

                      Hi morning Ninjago,

she was much better this week ..
yesterday she said she was very cold and was shivering in car ... i brought her in to the canteen .. she wiped away her tears, hug-hug me and walked up to the Hall .. i was very touched (TT)..

this morning , she complained of tummy pain in car again , however she was able to manage by herself when we reached school
                      I am very glad ... 😂
i think she starts to enjoy the school ...
