Fengshan Primary

I'm from Fengshan too! Graduated in 1988. So old liao! I also remember Ms Ho, stern looking, thick makeup and strong perfume. But otherwise seems nice. Also remember my ex P6 teacher Ms Siti. One of the ex tr that used to be ex-Rosyth 's principal. I miss the big big field and the canteen food.

Hi Kiasimom,
You mentioned your kid is now @ FengShan, I’ve just moved into Bedok, was wondering how’s this school? My gal’s due for P1 next year & I know NUTS about schools @ Bedok!!! Headache
I understand the principle there is pretty new… (2nd year) …
Please enlighten me!!!

Hihi
Is there any after school care at FengShan Primary sch ??? -
Hi 18JA,
I’ve called the school to check on all my queries today. They do not have any after school care. We have to look for 1 out of the school.
Cheers! -
Hi Starduz,
In Bedok North, believe Red Swastika Pri is most popular as it is a SAP school but for 2nd language only Chinese language is offered. Next popular is Yu Neng Pri and it ranks one of the top neighbourhood schools in Bedok. Feng Shan is also good, though from MOE school history of academic performance, it is not as good as Red Swastika or Yu Neng Pri.
Of course, it depends on the experience of the old boys and girls. HB is transfer student from Mattar East Pri (Now RIP) to Red Swastika. He find no differences in the school experience, and wondering aloud why parents these days so particular about the stress and well-being of their kids. He believe in transfering our DS the minute the DS don’t feel good about the school.
DS now in Red Swastika and still loves going to school. Me also old girl Red Swastika all along, so cant comment about Feng Shan Pri. -
Hi Dicky,
I'm not exactly looking in Red Swastika @ Bedok. I know it's a good school... Too good for my gal. She don't really like chinese so don't wanna stress myself out at the end of the day.
Honestly, academic to me is not all important. I think what's impt for my gal is to learn about humanistic studies. (I think Singapore is really lagging back on this. ) I just hope she'll be a more considerate gal in the future than 1 tat's hunger / greed over power / fame / $$ ... Hope I'm not wrong with this mentality ....

Hi Starduz,
Nothing wrong with this. As they say stress is good, too much of it isn't. Unfortunately none of us will know where is our balance point until we stretch out of comfort zone. My HB say we cant presume for DS anything, he has to experience it himself. Well, we ourselves also don't follow our parent advise or life path most times. In fact, we lie to ourselves most time.
Blah... Blah... Blah... I had to \"agree\" to save my sanity from HB. Sincerely wish you the best....

Fengshan is a SUPERB school.
The principal there has been there for 6 years.
She is very responsible and conscientious towards the school.
The teachers and the counsellors are very dedicated to their job too
It is always good to know that our children are in good hands.
I highly recommend FSPS to you.
Do let me know of any other questions that you have regarding the school
