Seems that there are journalists who got wind of RSS principal resignation.... Replied out of courtesy, though nothing to say as we not bothered by the change of principal. As we said, RSS had always been one of the better schools, but never one of the elite schools. Hence no high expectation. :scratchhead:

DS got his ranking as 5th in class.. and 40th in P1 level.. and apparently, there are three pple who get 5th in class, so i think the students' results are quite close to each other. As i always tell him, there are people who are slow initially, but will outshine the others without you knowing(i was one of those slow learners, but managed to be top 10% in the whole level during primary sch), so i had to remind DS abt that..See more sad face today on forum. DS last in class, a few slot from bottom of P1 level..... *Sign*
Hi Constancet, which tour agency did you book for that firefly day trip?
Thks.....
this is the first year, so many kids are not taking it seriously.. and it seemed that gals score better than boys during the lower primary level, so dun be despaired.. there are always chance to chase up

Hi I am a newbie here. Just happen to come across this Forum today while searching for a SC. Find the discussions here very interesting. My son in joining rss P1 next year as well. I am so glad to know that there are so many people leavng in Punggol and Sengkang sending their children to RSS. I am really sua gu. I thought I am the only weirdo that enrol my son to a school so far away. I have not yet settle my sons SC and also transportation. Besides RSS. anyone sending the son to some student care nearby? I was thinking of sending my son to RSS SC but not sure if this is a good choice.

Hi Parents,
I am new here but i understand the kiasuness feeling in all parents. I am defintely one kiasu parent when it comes to health and education. My eldest boy is 4 years old and I am planning to enrol him into primary 1 now, is it too early? and how do i start the process? I am looking at red swastika and good schools in bedok as both of us are working and my in laws who are staying in bedok are taking care of my kids.
Oh dear, I am at loss and i believe in good education, who doesn't... and if i have settled the brother, the young one will follow suit so hardship for the first time is expected

Hi, RSS caters more to mandarin-speaking students, so presuming your kids can speak mandarin. Yu Neng pri opposite is also good. If considering these 2 schools and you are not living within 1km radius, suggest you find out parent volunteer scheme.Hi Parents,
