According to the earlier post, the school bus go to Tampines, Pasir Ris then to Punggol. So when reach home will be very late.
Thinking of gathering Children from the same area to form a car pool session, so at least the route is direct from RSS to Punggol. -

Dear RSS parents,
My daughter was born in 2007 and I’m keen to apply for Parent Volunteer for 2014 P1 Registration.
However, I looked through RSS website and couldn’t find any info with regards to PV application this year.
Please advise if there’s any way I could obtain this info. Thanks. -
CNS:
Any idea which are the \"top\" classes generally in RSS ?
No top class in RSS for P1-P4.
The whole class is made up of some high ability kids, average kids and low ability kids. So you can expect all kinds of result.cchew:
Oh, pls take care. My gal was having runny nose for the past 2 days and i gave one shot of Yummy House Honey. So far so good
Yes, talk about the EL test, though my gal is in P3, she was telling me some of her friends scored 6 or 7 out of 20. I was quite shock with such result, esp when this is just a small tropical test. I would usually expect quite near to full marks, esp for small test like this. Am I harping on the \"impossible\" ? Can parents throw some light on what kind of marks do you expect your child to score for this type of \"tropical\" tests ? Thanks
In a high ability class (top class), you would find the marks are very close. If the paper is easy, most of them will be scoring full marks. If the paper is tough, everyone would be getting low marks.
At the end of P4, first 80 students in standard (who is taking HCL) will be place in 'top class'.
The remaining students will be place in either a HCL mixed ability class or CL mixed ability class (depending on whether they select HCL or no HCL). Mixed ability is made up of some high ability kids, average kids and low ability kids.
If your position in standard is 40 and you are not taking HCL (taking normal CL), then you would be place with the mixed ability class with normal chinese. -

I did Pv previously. You need to call the school to enquire and register. There has been change in principal so the procedure may be different now. I advise you to do it as early as 2 yr before because they take in very few Pv now, around 30 or so. -
Welcome to all forum newbies....
Family back from Sabah. Me conquer Mt Kinabalu summit, DS managed to Resthouse but we forbid him as he clearly affected by the chill during night climb. Went water rafting also. Very fun.
Reaching the summit has a price, am aching all over. Water rafting too, got bites and rashes from insect bites (sand flies?)
Only savour the trip when returning, throughout the climb and rafting, felt like strangling DH all the way...... -

Heard that the top A level girl this year Koh Mingming is former RSS P1 to P3 student. She transferred to Tao Nan to join GEP programme in P4. Is it true?
