have one more question to ask …

attached to the school confirmation letter, there is form for a pre-primary chinese hanyu pinyin class to enroll this year. i’m wondering if anyone is sending their child to it. my child is already learning hanyu pinyin in her K2 class now, so is it necessary to attend the class the school suggest?

is it once the school start next year, the teacher expects the children to know hanyu pinyin already? this sounds scary actually …

I think that is what is implied. At least you have 5 more months to prepare.

            Hi

The lesson is organize by the Alumni. I did enrol my boy into the course too but he didn't really learn anything during the lesson. Maybe is bcos he dislike Chinese.

                    Hi everyone,

My DS1 is in ATS P2. We have never joined any of the organised classes by the school so I can't comment much about the standard of delivery.

I personally like ATS for its strong \"chinese-y\" environment and culture. I believe most of the schools under the Hokkien Huay Kuan Association are like that.

                    Counting down to CA2 now...
