My DS would be entering P1 next year in ATS. Would like to find out more about the after school care provided in the school by ProTeach. Does any parents have any positive / negative experiences to share?

Are there any other after school care / tuition / enrichments centers nearby?

Aitong has secured the bus transport services from Million Bus. School bus arrangements are available for student care students at around 6pm. On certain days where there are CCAs, you may be able to get on the CCA bus at around 4-430pm.

My son started at Pro-Teach last year when he was in P3. I have to say he does not enjoy it (till now). It could be due to the fact that he takes the CCA bus home at 4pm on most days, thus only manage to do homework at Pro-Teach but not their extra activities/programs. My son has also never been to full day child care thus possibly rejecting going full day in school as well. It’s quite a headache thou.

In any case, the head of Pro-Teach there is a nice and responsible lady. They had a few teacher movements last year which resulted in some incidents. The head did keep me updated on those incidents which I had some issues with as well (mainly disciplinary) Hopefully this year would be better.

I prefer Pro-Teach in ATS simply because it’s convenient and it’s within school compound. They also follow ATS’ guidelines on conduct etc. However, as they r using the school classrooms , there is limited shower facilities thus no shower is arranged during the student care period (except for special cases where shower is requested).

I tried the ATS million school bus first day today, they charged me at an outrageous bus fee ( when I compared with other schools’ bus fee) but only managed to send my kid home at 340pm instead of 245pm that they mentioned.

Appreciate if any of you can share any contacts of reliable driver or private bus with me. Thank you!

Considering that NYPS has only 4 principals till date (with the current one dating to Dr Ng Eng Hen's time as Education Minister), the \"one thing\" isn't so clear when there's not much data to draw or infer on.

NYPS next P is from Pei Chun Public school. It's neither a no-brand primary school nor a top-brand primary school. I learnt that she is not friendly and does not interact much with the students. As compared to the previous P, who is very active, interacting with students and to the extend of stationing at the students drop off zone to supervise the drop off and pickup. There seems to be quite a distinct difference.....passive P vs passionate P.

The new P seems quite quiet and low profile… not much communication with parents. Many experienced teachers had left or are leaving ATS… its quite a worrying sign.
