Classes start early (despite being a single session school) so that they can get most of the lessons out of the way before it gets too warm in the afternoon. This is my just my opinion!


hmmm. didn't cross my mind that it could be about the afternoon heat.

My son (P3) gets up at 6:10 am and catches the school bus at 6:25 am at a location 4 requiring a 4-min walk. He eats his pre-packed breakfast in the school canteen before lessons.

From wake up to reaching bus pick up pt in 15mins?!?!?! I'm inspired.
Seems eating breakfast along the way is a common practice. good idea.

Sleeping at 6:30pm seems extreme. 7:30pm will probably be sufficient in iantao's case. But does your kid really need 45mins? Let me share a tip... buy the polo-shirt and have him change to his uniform just before bed and sleep in it! Wear the PE kit on PE days. He only needs to wear the \"full uniform plus tie\" on one day a week. We need to use time-saving measures to ensure that kids waste little time in the morning. Have him wake up 5 mins earlier just for that day.

My thoughts were 45mins includes morning hygiene, breakfast, uniform change.
BTW, how does the uniform thing work?
Can the kids wear polo-T for school daily (except for the full uniform with tie day)?
When do they wear the standard button uniform?
Wearing Polo-T to sleep sound good but wouldn't it be totally crumpled by time he wakes up?

Right now my son wakes up around 8am and laze for another half hour.
Looks like need to put him (and myself) thru cold turkey with the morning drill come last week of Dec.

Just got letter for P1 orientation. Noted to sign up school bus with vendors on same day.
Any tips on how best to pick school bus so kid don’t have to wake up too early?

How does the schoolbus vendors work? Random sign up and they follow route based on those signed up?
Or all sign up with central admin and students grouped in similar location will be assigned bus?
Would Grab Bus be an option?

Also, any idea what’s Dads@Catholic High group about?
