I would still go for Catholic High as it's a school that's worth the risk. But of course need to go in with open mind and even more importantly, you must be comfortable and at peace with your 2CS backup school.

I guess different people have different risk profiles. Personally speaking, to be \"safe\", I would go for KCPPS in Phase 2B, then wait to see if it is worthwhile to withdraw and take my risk in CHS in Phase 2C. Most times, I would just stay in KCPPS rather than to risk not getting a preferred school at all...

Hahaha yes absolutely that would be the safest route, the hardest part would be the last day of Phase 2C where OP needs to decide whether to pull out her 2A KCPPS application or not.

I suppose you can gather live info on CH whatsapp or telegram groups during Phase 2C registration to see how many 1km applicants there are and analyze the odd on the last day.

Wow thank you! I didn’t know they provide live info on the number of 1km applicants via these chats? Also, if I apply for 2B alumni for KCP before that and withdraw to apply for 2C on the last day, is there any penalty or lowered chances? Thank you so much for your responses and info. The only penalty is that you would lose your Phase 2B school should you get balloted out in Phase 2C. Then, you will have to choose your 3rd choice school for Phase 2C(S). For me, I just think it is not worth the risk, but I guess different people have different risk profiles.

Check http://www.sgschooling.com it has lots of useful information and past data.

Near Bishan, phase 2CS schools are usually only left with Townsville and Theck Ghee.
