I have just handed in the form to transfer my boy to P3 CHS. Currently under waiting list. Anyone has any experience in transfering to share? Does the school depends on the results to select the boys from the waiting list or does it go by your que in the waiting list? General Office staff said that there may be outcome after 20 Dec. This is such a dreadful long wait......

My boy was transferred to CHS when he was P3. I cannot remember when I submitted the form, but I got the results before the school holiday started.

Did all the running around, collect his report book and release letter from his current school and submitted to CHS, before the school holiday started.

Should be 3rd Jan based on MOE website as follows:

my son will be transferred to CHS next yr because he is selected for GEP.

Does any mommy or daddy know when will the orientation day take place for these new students ? we will be away for 2 weeks starting this weekend and I am afraid that we will miss it. If we miss the orientation day, any advice on how we can seek advice on bus arrangement, book list etc /

Hi SoWoW, the letter that I received this morning was from MOE GEP branch not CHS. I think there will be a separate letter which I am afraid will be delivered while I am away.

BTW am quite sure your son will get into CHS, esp if it is your 1st choice. Good luck anyway, cheers
