1) not too sure, better ask his classmatesHi, Mummies and Daddies:
Anyone can advice me two thing:
1) How usually Chinese teacher request kids practice ”习字“,how many times he need to write, My DS kind of blur, know need to write but forget how many times teacher request to write. (p4)
2) Usually other school will ask kids to sit for \"new south wales\" test, how about CHS ?
2) yes CHS also let students sit for NSW (includes math, science, computer, english, english writing). All students can sign up. No need to be selected. The school will be giving the application form in the early part of the year, just look out for it. -

thank you very much for your info. very helpful. -
Hi; my son just transferred to catholic high p4 this year. Not GEP.
He is offered band-cca but he prefer to join the sport cca. Understand from the teacher is very hard to get to sport cca as they have quota for each sport.
My son was school floorball team player at his previous school, he is incline to sport.
please advise should he take up band cca or wait for place in sport cca. Thanks -

hi gcyeo, does yr son have any sports cca in mind? if yes, you can try approaching the teachers in charge of those cca directly.Hi; my son just transferred to catholic high p4 this year. Not GEP.

Yes, you should contact the teacher directly. In CHS, talents were scouted in P1, during PE & Music, where the teacher spots students who have the aptitude to do certain CCA. And then recommend that they do certain CCA. Of course parents can turn it down.Hi; my son just transferred to catholic high p4 this year. Not GEP.

Since your ds transfer this yr, the teachers won't know his talent or that he is in sch team unless you mention it yourself. -
Thank you. I have contacted the teacher, they will let me know next week.

No, this would be too early. You will have to cross the overhead bridge, then walked thro the sidegate of Whitley sec sch, & run the risk of the sidegate not opened at times.
You have to alight a few stops later: continue the bus journey along marymount Rd, it will turn right into Bishan St 22, where you will see salvation army, then continue the journey until you see Catholic High secondary gate, then you alight & cross the road. You can go to the Primary side via the Secondary sch gate. -

Hi...any kind souls here can help me? I couldn't an answer from the ChS website.
May I know for Phase 2B Catholics, what documents I need to bring for P1 reg'n? At least one parent's Baptism Cert? How about my boy's baptism cert? Need or not? If dun have his, will
I be moved to phase 2C?
Would appreciate a reply based on yr experience, preferably as recent as possible.
