      Hi everyone!

As everyone is aware, next year SAPS will operate as single session but is anyone aware of the exact school hours?
Based on last newsletter, it will be from 730am to 145pm. By the time DS gets home, he'll :faint: from hunger!

        Hi,

Actually based on the Anthonian updates, the timing is from 7.30 am - 1.30 pm but you're right, by the time reach home already very late and hungry!

I'm actually kinda confused regarding the timing because according to the survey times, it's 7.45 or 8 am. I can't remember the end times but why Anthonian updates states is 7.30 am? Then what's the point of asking parents for preferred timings? And current morning session is 7.30 am - 1 pm with reporting time at 7.15 am. Why next year extend another 30 min?

Maybe longer to stagger the recess breaks?

Think so. But I’m sure there’ll be another notice before school closes for the year.

Hi everyone, good evening. I enjoy reading the posts here & it seems like an almost "mummy-circle" everywhere when it comes to kids’ education. Hey hey, I’m a father of a 3 year-old daughter & wish to enrol her in St Anthony’s Primary School. First thing first, is this a co-ed school? It’s confusing as my understanding is that it was an all boys institution.

And is there "parent volunteers" in this school? If yes, what are the requirements & criteria to be one? What are the benefits / chances of my daughter’s successful enrollment?

Hope to receive some sharing here, thank you very much.

Have a lovely, happy & blessed weekend.

Want to find out for primary 3, what are the stayback days beside Tuesdays and Fridays CCAs? Any extra remedial or enrichment classes and on which days? Thanks.

                    Hi Francisval,

Noticed that no one replied you so I'll try answering what I know 😃

                    St Anthony's primary is a co-ed school.

To my understanding there is no parent volunteer programme but you may check directly with the school as there might be changes.

If you are a Catholic then you'll fall under phase 2B and priority goes to Singaporeans.

                    Hope this helps 😃

                      Hi Happyfeet11,

                      Good afternoon.

Thank you so much for your sharing!! It certainly eased my most important doubt about St. Anthony’s Primary School’s co-ed status. Haha, I even have a bet with my sister-in-law on this as she seems so confident when she claims that SAPS is an all-boys institution.

We are also grateful to you for telling us that we are placed under the 2B category in the school enrollment exercise. Haha, we are certainly within 1km distance from this school. Let’s hope it enhances our chances in getting in successfully.

Lastly, our daughter was born in 2011 June, which means that she is currently 3 years & 4 months old. Hence, am I correct to say that we have to enrol her in the year 2017 June exercise?

Once again, thank you very much, Happyfeet11. Have a happy & peaceful week ahead with lots of smiles surrounding you.

                      Que Sera Sera!!

                      Best Regards,

                      Francisval
