QMS, almost couldn't \"recognise\" you with your new avatar πŸ™‚

      Ha! Ha! Ha! :rotflmao:

      Something new for everyone here....
      preggie:
At least you know when your son is having his ting xie. I'm still in the dark.
Could it be that your girl's teacher hadn't told the class? :scratchhead:
      preggie:
BTW, the LTA enforcement officers were at Bt Purmei to summon those who parked along the road. 2 parents were summoned and i saw them \"negotiating\" with the officers.
Actually, I think it is still ok to park along the side, so long as you don't obstruct the pedastrians. I saw one car parked near the traffic light, and the car actually \"ate\" into the space meant for pedastrians. :x
      preggie:
I think i will make a point to arrive later everyday... so i can just pick and go without having to park at the roadside for too long.
Is that why I didn't see you the past few days?

I finally found the tingxie list in her bag. It was all crumpled up like a piece of rubbish  The words are indeed tough.

My hubby was the one who picked her up the past few days. You will see me again next week πŸ™‚

The bookfair is on Monday and Tuesday isn't it? My DD wants to buy 2 books. From what i see, all these books can be bought from bookstores.

I saw some of the titles at Big Bookshop yesterday.

Can we request the school to give us the parking label in which we can park at the HDB estates during school dismissal? Understand last time they use to have. :celebrate:

Hope like that the traffic flow at Bukit Purmei would be pleasant. It is good to start now cultivate a good habit protocol where next time the school operates into a single session! :celebrate

I think many of this year's P1 kids are driven to and from school. The number of cars parked along the road seems to be longer than last year.

Actually, if we all move to the carpark, there probably won't be enough parking spaces too.

I do feel sorry for the residents of bukit purmei. Going home (at 6.30) and going to work (at 7am) is such a pain every weekday

Should be able to. Even if you can't find the book outside, you will be able to get it in the next book fair which, I believe, you won't have to wait long.

Remember there were soooo many bookfairs last year?

I saw few magazine subscriptions from the book fair list like - young scientist, science spy, wildlife wonders, singapore scientists etc.

Do you know the age group of the magazines science spy, wildlife wonders, singapore scientists ? Any recommendations?

The age group is specifed in the leaflet.

I won't be subscribing to these magazines anymore coz my experience from last year is many of these magazines often end up in my bin without being read.

It is ok, I manage to find the book in Popular. True, seem that every 1-2 month they do have a bookfair.

I found out that for PAL, the students will do

                        - Creative Movement
dance movements to improve motor skills
                        - Visual Arts
                        - Sports

My DS 'complained' that the moves were more difficult for the boys as compared to the gals. He had martial art lessons last friday and end up having a muscle pull... πŸ˜‰ :rotflmao: He's so unfit!!!
