Sorry what is MDPW?

I was wondering why DS had to attend extra lessons- thinking that he might have fared badly! Now I know the actual reason...sigh!!!

Dino Mummy,
Was it the same case your kids last time that they had to stay back for extra lessons?
Hi everyone
No, he doesnt need to...He mentioned his FT conducted remedial classes for those weaker ones. There is no extra lesson conducted cos not enfg time to cover the syabullus.
MDPW-multi disciplinary proj work.
Some kind of group work project that the kids are appraised. There will be a grade in the report on this.
You know what? During normal school hours, they have this thing called MDPW. On Wednesday alone, MDPW took up two English lessons, one Maths lesson and one Health Education lesson.

The students had their second session of MDPW yesterday. There are altogether six sessions! :faint:

For their spelling on Thursday, they usually take up one lesson. As the teacher was running late, she had to make use of the second lesson to finish the big book that she was supposed to complete before giving the students their spelling. Luckily (or unluckily), their Music teacher wasn't in school yesterday, so the class ended up having their spelling during Music lesson.

How to cover what she is supposed to cover in this manner? 🤷
This MDWP is something extra in every level? :lightrod:

Titank, RMPS will only go single session in 2014. You may like to take this into consideration when you decide on the school for your girl.

Huh? It is not ready by next year? I was hoping next year as my 2nd one will be P1 next year. It will be easier for both in the same session..

If you read the press release carefully, there was no mention when the school would go single session. It just stated when the upgrading would be completed.

Chongfu Pri, whose upgrading was to be completed in Dec 2011, is still on 2-session mode (according to the school's website).

Do note that the upgrading works started in March 2011, not Nov 2010, due to the change in principal. Hence, everything has moved to the right by at least a quarter.

I attended the PTM yesterday and was told that the school would only go single session in 2014.

The field is still in a mess, with the upgrading works nowhere near completion.
