Yesterday she bought a water filter system which cost $18 and today she asked my DH for $29 for some time machine... OMG!

Wow! Your daughter is into science, eh?

haha.. i think she's just curious la.

btw, i'm a little worried abt her coz she'll come home with different \"gifts\" from friends everyday! Yesterday, she brought home lollipops and a whole bunch of \"fruitty\" erasers. There's also a set of hello kitty coloured pencils which she claims that her friends gave to her.

Why are her friends giving stuff to her all the time?? I hope they won't turn around and say she stole them or something.

Am going to ask her to stop accepting \"gifts\"...

My damage is worst, my DS bought a mechanical bug $22 and wanted to buy more....I gave him the ultimatum...STOP or you will have no pocket money bcos it will come from there.

I think the school shd have some control over - afterall they are P1 and P2 kids. I worried about my boy bringing so much $$ to school and losing it.

I think it would be good to check with her if indeed these are gifts otherwise she may be \"accuse\" of stealing....

On a lighter note, it shows that your girl is popular!

But, on a serious note, famangelina31 has a point, too. :scratchhead:

I think the school will get some kickback from the sales of books and toys. The vendor will give the school \"commission\" in the form of books for the libarary. That was the practice at one of the preschools my DD attended.

                  Hi All,

I asked my son's form teacher...she also dont know. Aiyoh...very jialak leh...!!! :slapshead:

:?: Can anyone from 1A/B advise if the children need to wear the school uniform or can they wear sports attire for the National Museum Excursion?
My DS went for the Museum today & the teacher said can wear PE attire. Guess the teacher would inform the students one day prior to the trip. Weather is so hot, best to wear T-Shirt which is more cooling.

So, famangelina31, are you joining your son for the trip tomorrow?

Unfortunately, not...I was unwell last week and hence has a lot of things pile up to work off this week...

BTW, did your son enjoy his trip yesterday? Heard that it was quite cold inside but my DS just simply refuse to bring along a jacket!
