My daughter had her english paper yesterday and told me that the questions were laddened with mistakes! For example, popcorn was spelt as popcorns?!

QMS - i told the teacher that i've heard something about streaming at the end of the year and asked for more details. She didn't reply.

Woah...you dd is very observant. When we get the paper back, we need to look closely at it and bring it up to the principal abt the grammatical mistakes. If the paper setter has bad grammer & /or spelling mistakes, how can they expect the kids to learn the proper way.

For chinese, they are going to be tested on chapters 9, 10 and 11 but they are still at chapter 10 :!: the chinese teacher told them will try to complete by this week.... :?

I emailed the teacher today to ask abt year end streaming. She answered all my questions except the one on streaming.. Is this streaming thing a secret?? Why are the teachers so secretive abt it?

What did you ask about streaming? Maybe the principal hasn't decided on it yet, and hence, the teacher didn't want to disclose too much? :scratchhead:

Check with a parent , dont think the teacher will drop hints but have been advise to revise worksheet and rely on own knowledge!

Yes, can you imagine? the chinese ting xie is still at chapter 10 for this Wed....haiz I hope the teacher can be more organised. Maybe they'll have the test next week...i better check with her MT teacher.

And for Eng, they're supposed to have unit review for 2 chapters but the FT only returned one of the worksheets for unit 12....how to revise like this? :faint: :faint: :faint:

Anyone of you has this issue? or just my dd's class??
