Hi dear all parents, anyone has school bus contacts?

I engaged the bus uncle referred by GroWorld Centre, Mr Yeo, and am so angry with him! First day of school, told uncle we will bring child to school ourselves, but he has to pick up from Centre. And so he did pick him up and send him back but he dropped off at the wrong bus stop while I was waiting at the other bus stop! He just let my boy went off the bus even without seeing any adult to fetch him!!! Luckily my boy knows the way home, it’s quite far actually!

I told him to pick up & drop off at ZhengHua Pri that busstop, along the main road with a overhead bridge, he go and drop off at the small road, ZhengHua Main Gate. So after his first day, told him it’s a wrong drop-off and pick-up, and he say okie. This morning waited then for 30mins and he didn’t come at all! Call him twice, the first time says turning in another mins… We waited for 15mins, call him again… Then he claims he didn’t see us at the bus stop so he left (which is the wrong bus stop), his excuse is rubbish. How can a driver not know how to differentiate main road & small road? Yet he had the check to tell me, the main road u want, the ZhengHua school dun allow u to turn in 1 la… Seriously I was like!

The day I called him, he seems so blur of my pickup location, so he says he will drive over and see the area that night… I told him, ok if u coming u call me so to make sure which bus stop & I also know ur bus. He choose not to call me, how can like that?

Please help, am I over-reacting? It’s my first kid, and I nv took school bus before myself… Is this norm, esp the start of school? Need to resolve this, but best to find alternate bus arrangement as I m not comfortable with this uncle attitude…

hi Xander’s mummy, sorry to hear that. IMO, I don’t think you are overreacting. What if your kid was lost, roads are nearby too and it’s very dangerous. If possible, do find other sch bus service.

Beacon Pri have bus services.

I am using the school's appointed bus operator Ling Wei Transport Service for the past 2 years plus current year. They are reliable so far based on my experience with them. You can Google for the company's contact numbers.

any parent whose child has finished studies at Beacon Primary? Can comment on how effective is ICT for your child? I am concerned my child will be hooked onto computer if he learnt via ICT way.

Yes I tried. P1/8 teacher sent the blog, id password.
